With a career spanning 40 years, which includes working in the London publishing industry, international print sales, hospitality and real estate in the UK and Portugal, Ann Laws has a wealth of knowledge and experience.

Laws Property has been trading successfully for 5 years and now has a small team of trusted professionals dedicated to delivering the best service possible.

Having been established to deliver a more realistic sales commission, the company is going from strength to strength as vendors can profit from a sales commission of 2.5% (+ IVA) when signing an exclusive contract. For non-exclusive contracts a highly competitive sales commission of 3% (+ IVA) will be charged. This remains significantly below the market norm.

Without compromising a global marketing service, buyers will also benefit by the vendor having more flexibility in the price they accept. A win-win situation!

What makes us different

Laws Property Portugal was created to introduce a ‘bright new dawn’ in real estate. How and why did we do this? We reduced the sales commission paid by vendors to 2.5% (+IVA) for exclusivity and 3% (+IVA) for multi-agency, where the market norm had been 5% plus.

At last, vendors had a choice – they could save money and this choice came with no penalties – a full support service included – national and international marketing with a comprehensive photography package. 

Some years later, our market presence has flourished as many clients have taken advantage of the lower rates. We have also developed a pro-active marketing strategy and attract buyers from all over the world. With an experienced team of professionals, the help and guidance of our web developers/seo marketeers, and the reach provided by national and international property portals, we are finding new and diverse sales opportunities.

In the Spring of 2024, we moved to new premises in the prestigious suburb of Porto dé Mos, Lagos, in the western Algarve.
